In this year’s Time Magazine influential people list, Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin has found its way in, as Time Magazine recognized and included the co-founder of the second valued cryptocurrency in its list of 100 most influential people in 2021. Buterin sits alongside eminent personalities such asTesla‘s Elon Musk, Jensen Huang of Nvidia, and others in the list.
Buterin-owned Ethereum has made significant impacts in the crypto niche within few years. It has raised a profitable clientele and continues to grow, helping the burgeoning NFT world tap from the potentials of its blockchain to establish the concept of a sole proprietorship with its tech.
Buterin’s Ethereum contribution in decentralized apps and NFTs cannot be underrated. This is lauded by Reddit Co-Founder Alex Ohanian, who said that Buterin’s initiatives had paved the way to utilize blockchain tech.
Time has been deeply involved in crypto and Bitcoin adoption. The American magazine receives BTC as payment for its subscription services.
Back in March, it published a job opening about a chief financial officer with an excellent background in blockchain technology. Additionally, the magazine has also recently auctioned three of its NFTs.
In collaboration with Grayscale, the magazine recently confirmed it would hold Bitcoin received as a payment for its educational video series.
