Christie’s NFT Auction Rakes in $12 Million

Leading British auction house, Christie’s, has just concluded an auction dubbed “No Time Like Present” today with the sale of NFTs collections valued at $12 million. The online sale featured notable NFTs such as CryptoPunks, Bored Ape Yacht Club, and Meebits.

Available information shows that the auction house sold no lesser than 14 NFTs. Out of these fourteen NFTs, a CryptoPunk took the largest share of the auction as it was sold for a little over $4 million.

On the other hand, the rare Zombie Punk which only 88 exist sold for lesser. Other NFTs involved in the auction include five other CryptoPunks, four Bored Apes, and four Meebits.

Interestingly, in June, a rare alien Punk auctioned at Sotheby’s, a rival auction house, sold for $11.75 million.
