PayPal, one of the largest payment gateways in the world, wants to hire over 100 people for crypto-related job openings within its firm. The company has cited the growing demand for cryptocurrency as why it will continue to spread its tentacles within the burgeoning space.
The job postings on the company’s site have shown that there are at least 100 crypto-related positions to be filled within the organization. According to the job posting the available positions range from crypto engineering managers, program managers, strategy managers, and blockchain AML analytics managers, to investigators, operations managers, crypto investigations specialists, crypto tax reporting managers, and crypto legal directors.
Also, the listing revealed that the bulk of the openings are available in the United States while other countries like Ireland, Israel, Singapore, Guatemala City and Hong Kong also have openings.
In the words of PayPal’s CEO, Dan Schulman, “we continue to be pleased with the momentum we see on crypto, and we’re adding incremental functionality into that.”
PayPal also recently announced that it would be adding new features to its crypto services which includes a crypto wallet called “Super App” which has features like “ direct deposit funds, new and improved bill pay functionality, messaging capabilities outside of P2P to enable family and friend communications, as well as additional crypto capabilities and customized deals and offers.”
It would also be recalled that the firm recently increased the weekly crypto purchase limit of its users to $100,000.
