Recently, Snoop Dogg, the famous rapper, prolific entrepreneur, and media personality from the USA, gave an interview to Vanity Fair in which he talked about Bitcoin and non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The rapper is very much interested in technology and has recently invested a hefty amount in a few startups — one of which is a telemedicine company, HIMS.
Now, according to Vanity Fair, Dogg will get into the NFT game, in the near future, by launching a collection of eight pieces. According to Dogg, NFT is a new technology that will significantly change the way artists around the world do business and connect with their fans. “I am excited about it, ya dig? I’m happy to participate in the movement,” he told Nick Bilton of the Vanity Fair.
Moreover, according to various news platforms, Snoop is collaborating with crypto.com through, “A journey with the Dogg,” which is an NFT auction. He has recorded an original track for this event. He also had a few things to say about the emerging tech concerns around the world, such as privacy and censorship — he said that he believes in people and they’ll surely make everything “alright” in the end.
Snoop Dogg believes that Bitcoin and NFTs are the next big thing because they will create a “global connection.” According to him, through this technology, he will establish a direct connection with those who buy his artwork and they will be able to collect, display, and trade it.
